Beautiful Yixing zisha purple clay teapot by Chinese ceramic artist Wang Yan (王燕), presented with its original box, cloth wrap, artist biography card/illustrated certificate.
The accompanying documentation identifies the design as “如意中华” (Ruyi Zhonghua) and shows the same distinctive teapot form. The pot features a finely executed ribbed/segmented body, scalloped shoulder, decorative ruyi-style lid design, curved handle, and matching spout.
The underside bears an impressed Wang Yan maker’s seal, with an additional impressed seal inside. The included biography identifies Wang Yan as a Yixing-born zisha artist associated with the Yunshui Chanxin Zisha Art Museum.
