Beautiful Wedgwood dark blue Jasperware bud vase featuring multiple applied cream-white classical relief scenes with putti/cherubs, birds, foliage, and decorative motifs around the body.
This approximately 5-inch vase has a rich royal/cobalt blue matte finish, flared rim, footed base, and an applied leaf garland around the neck. The underside carries a faint impressed WEDGWOOD mark.
This piece belongs to Wedgwood’s older dark blue Jasperware tradition and is substantially more decorative than many of the more common later pale-blue examples.
