Weller Art Pottery Roba Periwinkle Blue Vintage 6 1/2\" Double Handle Vase 1936-1940

ITEM DESCRIPTION

This vintage Weller Art Pottery Roba double handle vase is in Excellent Condition with No Chips or Cracks. NOTE: There is fine natural crazing to the glaze consistent with age. Made in the USA, this beautiful vase features a soft periwinkle blue and cream matte glaze accented with raised pink flowers, green leaves, and a naturalistic branch. The sculpted double handles are formed from flowing green branches, complementing the floral decoration on the ribbed body. It measures approximately 6 1/2\" tall and dates from 1936-1940.

PATTERN & DESIGN

The Weller Roba line features soft matte glazes, raised floral decoration, and naturalistic sculptural forms characteristic of Weller pottery from the late 1930s. This example features a ribbed cream body shaded with periwinkle blue and decorated with raised pink flowers, green foliage, and a sculpted branch extending across the front. The open double handles continue the branch-and-vine motif, while the softly scalloped rim and periwinkle blue base complete the distinctive design.

This measures 6 1/2\" High x 3\" Wide rim to rim. I have provided a lot of pictures to best describe the condition of this Vase.
