Original cloth-covered cordage is intact and uncut throughout — from the
handset to the base, and from the base to the subset. The four-conductor
cloth cord has NOT been cut or spliced; it
terminates into a jack then to a RJ11 for practical
hookup, done non-destructively so the original cording is fully

* This phone retains its ORIGINAL WORKING No. 2HB DIAL — a dial that Bell System itself made scarce over time, since old No. 2 dials were routinely field-converted to the later No. 4 style by plugging the exposed fingerstop screw holes. RESTORATION / FUNCTION
I\'m a General Class licensed amateur radio operator and did the full
mechanical and electrical restoration myself. The phone is correctly
wired, dials out beautifully, and both transmitter and receiver perform
well on a POTS line OR an ATA VoIP. As expected for an original bullet-transmitter
handset of this era, audio has the characteristic limitations of that
period\'s technology — works great and is fully functional “Plug and play” ready complete with subsetAGE
