Cap and barrel: hand-forged \"Twist\" mokume gane — a patterned metal wrought from copper, brass, and nickel silver, clear-coated to protect the patina. Mokume gane is an ancient Japanese forging technique once used to decorate samurai sword fittings; every billet is unique; the flowing pattern on this pen exists on no other.
Medallion: the WH cap medallion is rendered in 14K rose gold.
Pocket clip: hand-forged Damascus steel, tensioned by a fitting set with a natural diamond in an 18K gold bezel.
Frame and closure: aerospace-grade titanium and aluminum interior frame, with William Henry\'s Wavelock™ cap system — chromium steel balls in a titanium ring, captured in wave-shaped grooves in titanium collars for closed and post positions.
Accents: titanium end caps; black components in German ebonite (vulcanized hard rubber).
