Vintage matched pair of Woodbury Pewterers candlesticks featuring a classic Early American / Colonial-style design. Each candlestick has a traditional turned baluster form with a broad stepped base, gently shaped center column, and flared candle cup. Both are marked Woodbury Pewterers with the company\'s eagle emblem.These have a wonderful understated look that works especially well with Colonial, Early American, primitive, farmhouse, traditional, or historic-inspired interiors. They would make an attractive pair for a mantel, dining table, sideboard, holiday display, or centerpiece, and the neutral pewter finish allows them to work with a wide variety of decor. Woodbury Pewterers pieces are also collected as examples of American traditional pewterware.Vintage preowned condition with age-appropriate surface wear, scratches, scuffs, oxidation/patina, darkening, and marks from previous use. There is visible residue and wear inside the candle cups consistent with having held candles. I have left the existing patina rather than aggressively polishing them.
