When switched on, it emits sound and brilliant light, then begins its patrol and starts moving.
It performs "mystery action" (random movement) when lightly touched, though the tires seem to have some balance issues or wear.
The battery contact points in the battery box are a bit weak; I found that placing a small piece of aluminum foil against the negative terminals resolved the issue (though it is possible the batteries I used were simply old).
There are signs of scuffing, minor scratches, and small dents.
While the sound, lights, and movement are currently functional (as shown in the photos),
please be aware that it is possible for the mechanism to stop working during transit or storage.
