An original devotional Victorian scrap album. Circa 1870s.It measures approximately 8\" (20cm) high by 5\" (13cm) wide.It has a plain brown cloth cover which has some marks where a picture may have been stuck on and a small ink stain on the back.The spine in intact and the binding is good and tight.The album contains approximately 40 pages (80 sides). The ephemera is glued mostly to both sides of the pages.There are about 12 blank pages towards the end.It contains approximately 50 cards.About half of these are religious cards with bible quotations and the the rest are greetings cards including a few paper-lace ones.Lots of religious leaflets and cuttings are stuck on and in-between the pages.The pages are age-stained but in good condition.All content shown.
