c.1913 Large French autochrome two women with books 13x18cm For Sale

Large French autochrome, 13cm x 18cm (about 5"x7") glass plate. This came to me with some smaller autochromes in original boxes with use by dates of 1912 and 1913. To my untrained eye the outfits in this autochrome are compatible with those years. Autochrome was the first practical color process, introduced in 1907 by the Lumiere brothers and manufactured until 1932 or so. $8 shipping. The lightest spots in the middle of the image are places where the emulsion is scraped, most prominently a vertical scratch 1cm long to the right of the older woman's book, and several missing bits below the younger woman's book.
