Original circa-1910s embossed friendship postcard decorated with colorful autumn oak leaves, branches, and acorns.
The verse reads:
“There’s a thought in my heart
That words will not say,
But for your kind friendship
I’m thankful today.”
Produced byWhitney Made of Worcester, Massachusetts, one of America’s best-known early greeting-card manufacturers. The reverse bears the decorative Whitney Made laurel logo and “Made in U.S.A.” marking.
The card is unposted but has penciled names on the reverse. Condition includes substantial age toning and foxing on the back, scattered spotting, and light corner and edge wear. The embossed design remains distinct, and the front colors display well.
