Offered for your consideration is a vintage Exact Level & Tool Mfg. Co. pocket spirit level, USA-made c.1940. Exact Level and Tool was a New Jersey manufacturer that was in operation from the 1930's to around 1985. They specialized in the use of aluminum—a strong yet light metal—for many of their levels.
This Exact pocket level features an aluminum frame, neatly formed-over the protective steel ends, and capped-off by a coated copper (possibly brass) shell with steel pocket clip. It measures a mere 3” long by just under ½” wide.

There are no dings or scratches of note, just some tarnish and/or finish flecking on the copper shell, and a bit of oxidation on the clip. Plus, the clip sits properly on the body with no gap. Also, the glass is in good order with no undue scratches or haze, and the bead frames correctly for accurate readings.
