View Larger Image   Craftsman Duplex Rabbet Plane + Wood Box   Description: This is a nice clean duplex rabbet plane that is marked "CRAFTSMAN MADE IN USA" on it. I believe is was made by Sargent. This one is in very nice clean condition, has been well protected over the years due to the protective wood box the past owner made for it when it was new. It is complete with depth stop, guide and a good sharp cutter that can be mounted to the plane in the forward or rear position. The one thumb screw on the depth stop is not original, but work fine. The Japanning is over 95% intact, and the bare metal working surfaces and clean and rust free. The box is nailed together plywood (the old style) in good solid, clean condition. The box measures 3.5 x 5.5 x 11" long.
