View Larger Image   Millen Jiffy-Tite Screw Holding Screwdriver Rare!   Description: This is a nice clean, rare specialty screwdriver with slotted screw holding features. Basically this screwdriver holds the slotted screw in place be the slot of the screw itself, while other designs held the head of the screw. The steel ferrule slides forward onto a special center section, this forces the tip part of the center section against the force of the tip, holding the screw in place on the tip. It works surprising well! This one is clearly marked "JIFFY-TITE MILLEN MFG. CO. BOSTON MASS. U.S.A. PAT. NO. 1899306" on the handle ferrule. The metal is all in good clean condition very little wear. The handle is well attached and tight to the steel. The handle is hardwood, solid , not cracked, a few dings, and a somewhat darkened finish, overall good shape. This is a very rare screwdriver, very well made!
