Bent Front Parting Carving Chisel 1/4 inch   Description: This is a unique shaped carving chisel that is 1/4" wide at the cutting edge, and has the V-shaped, bent front, parting chisel design. This one is marked "HERRING BROS. LONDON PRIZE METALS." on the steel. The mark is slightly blurred but readable. We believe this to be an English toolmaker during the late 1800's to early 1900's era. It is 9.5" long overall, sharp, ready to use condition, no rust or pitting, and and has the English style 8 sided hardwood handle, in good solid, nice looking condition.
