View Larger Image   Dunlap Spiral Yankee Style Automatic Screwdriver Germany   Description: This is a very nice, clean 1950's era ratchet spiral automatic screwdriver! It is much like a NORTH BROS. MFG. CO. YANKEE NO. 130A, but marked "DUNLAP GERMANY" on the nickel plated area near the three position controll selector. This screwdriver makes use of the same tips as the mid-size that Stanley YANKEE tips made by North Bros. and Stanley in regards to tooling, or the tips that fit into the chuck, they are the .280 (9/32") shank diameter size. We believe Dunlap was a large tool distributor, basically contracting manufactures to manufacture certain tools with their brand name on them. Most Dunlap tools were made in the U.S.A., but this rare model is marked "GERMANY". The chuck holds a variety of different slot, or Phillips type screwdriver tips, that we usually have in stock as an option. There is one slot bit included with this screwdriver. There is little wear noted on the screwdriver overall, no damage, about 95% like new, with most of the wear on the wood handle finish, about 99% nickel plating intact. In very good mechanical condition also! This one has a rapid return spring, on the spiral system, so it springs back after you push it in to drive a screw. We generally have hex head bit adapters and other tips, including drill adapters, in stock for this size screwdriver if you wanted to use it like a push drill as well.
