View Larger Image   Utica Fence Pliers Fencing 1895 Patent Rare!   Description: This is a nice clean 10" fence pliers/wire cutters, marked "UTICA PAT. 9-7-95" on both inside handles. The logo is the three diamond type, and the UTICA lettering is within each of those three diamonds. It is very rare to see this model in any size in this good of condition, with the original patent date on them! The steel is clean, no rust, no damage that will effect designed use of these pliers, but some dings and small spots of pitting noted on the outside finish. The pivot joint is snug, not sloppy, good shape. This model has two places for wire cutter, a place behing the pivot joint with serated jaws for grasping wire, and the front of the jaws for pulling and twisting wire. All of the cutter and wire handling features are in good+ condition with very little wear on them.
