PHILA PA. U.S.A. PAT.DEC.11.23" and several other earliers patents are listed as well. This is a special offering, it comes with a Yankee adapter that holds hex head bits, as you see in the picture. The hex bit set is included, and it had the desirable square drive tips, and a full range of Phillips bits too! About 92% of the nickel plating is intact, only minor wear, and about 98% stain and varnish intact on the handle, a few tiny dings in the wood finish, very nice. This type spiral drill is not spring loaded (no rapid return) in the spiral area drive area, works perfectly, as from the factory. <br> This one is 15.75" long overall with no bit in place, fully extended, and uses the 7/32" diameter shank tips.
