Sticht Tachometer Set w/Case 30,000 RPM Rare!   Description: This is a very nice clean speed indicator/tachometer with 25-30,000 RPM capability, in 3 separate ranges that can be set with the black knurled slide rotory switch on the front of the tachometer body, with white numbering to indicate the range set. So, this means you can measure rpm's as low as 25, or as high as 30,000. Please note this is a rare high end tachometer, most only have a range to 12,000 rpm! The dial has 2 ranges of numbers, and that explains the chart ranges show in the picture of the instruction page that is included. It is marked on the 3.12" diameter glass covered dial face, "HERMAN H. STICHT CO. INC. NEW YORK N.Y. NO. K-OS 521533 MADE IN SWITZERLAND" on the top of the simulated leather covered wood case. Among the best made speed indicators for lower RPM's up to 30,000. The indicator comes with 6 different attachments, and two metal round cases for oil dropper, and oil bottle, that each have a place inside the red velvet lined case. These attachments slip on the tachometer main shaft, and stay in place nicely. The instructions are in the case as well. The instructions claim that this unit needs oiling or lubrication, regularly. I have tested the indicator, it and all parts are in good working order, with some minor wear on the attachments noted, the wear is confined to the rubber parts, still fully uesable. The indicator itself is in very nice condition, with a good glass lens, very nice heavy duty cast case, well cared for, a few tiny paint chips, no rust. The box or case is very solid with very little minor wear on the exterior, very clean and nice inside, good hinges and clasp, nice leather carry strap, very solid construction. FPM or Feet Per Minute can also be measured by using the 6" circumference wheel that is included. A high quality indicator, that had a price of hundreds of dollars in it's day! A very precision made tool! I have seen none that can compare to it's quality, and smooth, quiet operation!
