The K&E tape and the steel frame reel are all in very nice used condition, just a little wear on the red/white paint on the wooden handle, otherwise very good condition. The steel frame is marked "THE LUFKIN RULE CO. SAGINAW MICH. MADE IN U.S.A." on the frame. This model feature a hinged reel handle that lock the tape in the closed position, and when opened has a nice little spinning knob at the end to assist in fast recovery of the tape.
