View Larger Image   Stanley No 5C Jack Plane Type 9 CA 1902-07   Description: Offering this nice clean Stanley Bailey No 5C (corrigated bottom) Jack Plane Type 9, dated 1902-07; blade bears the "STANLEY PAT. APL 1992" mark. The plane is in very good condition with some minor wear on the original black Japaning, but over 85% still intact; bear metal surfaces good+ condition, no cracks or chips, a few minor dings, two past owner's initials stamped on one side, smaller lettering, very clean. The 2 inch wide blade is clean, ready to work, no cracks or chips; cutter is nice and sharp with plenty of length left for resharpening. The rosewood handle is solid and clean; very minor wear - few minor dings on top edge mostly. Rosewood knob is in very good shape, solid and clean, minor dings, one scratch on the top, no cracks or chips. Marked "BAILEY NO. 5 PAT'D MAR.25.02 AUG.19.02" on the bed. Overall condition is good++, super clean plane for your collection and/or use!
