View Larger Image   Brown & Sharpe Pocket Slide Caliper No. 388   Description: This is a quality made 3" long pocket slide caliper in good used condition. It is marked "BROWN & SHARPE MFG. CO. PROVIDENCE R.I. U.S.A. NO. 388". There is a slide lock feature provided and is in good working order. The lock holds the size measured until you loosen the lock screw that is on one side. The graduations on both sides are in inches and in good+ condition, the slide is snug and moves smoothly. The caliper can be used for inside and outside measuring. The overall condition is good to good+ with only minor pitting to report, otherwise in very good clean condition, with no wear or pitting on the precision surfaces. It measures about 2.2" inside the caliper jaws, up to 3" on the external scale that runs the length.
