View Larger Image   Stanley Yankee Handyman Push Drill No. 46Y w/8 bits   Description: This is a very clean used automatic spiral, push drill w/ 8 different sized drill bits (points) that store in the handle (a full set of drill bits). It is marked "YANKEE HANDYMAN" on the blue insulated plastic handle, and "YANKEE HANDYMAN NO. 46Y STANLEY MADE IN U.S.A." on the main shaft. There is a sectional storage compartment inside the industrial plastic handle for drill point storage, and other than the handle this tool is all metal, even the threads on the cap are metal, very well constructed. This model is much like the earlier North Brothers No. 45 in size and basic design, having the same chuck, the same size drill points, and about the same amount of push travel. Stanley bought out North Brothers in the mid-1940's. This one is in very good working order, some minor wear and scratches on the red and blue handle, otherwise very little wear, good spring chuck, no cracks, or rust, most of the plating is still intact.
