View Larger Image   Antique Draw Knife 8 inch Blade   Description: This is a very good, sharp, sharp 8" blade, draw knife, not marked with any makers name. It has some grip type tape wrapped around the handles perhaps because the one handle start to crack, but both handles fit snug to the cast shafts they fit onto. The handles are solid, have the steel core type center w/steel tabs to hold them tightly in place. The cutting edge is sharp, and in useable condition, not pitted at the cutting edge, but the rest of the cast steel is evenly pitting, not rusty now, clean. The blade on this draw knife is straight and flat, runs parallel to the handles also, and the cutting edge is 8" long overall. As you can see in the pictures the cutting edge is not perfectly straight all the way across, but you can make it straight if you wish, plenty of stock there to work with.
