The thermometer is 9.5" (not including the thread eye at one end) long x 7/8" diameter. It is marked "FARMERS ELEVATOR CO. PELICAN RAPIDS MINN. MADE IN U.S.A. 20 PAT. APPL. FOR" and also has a scale that reads from -80-140 DEGREES. The thermometer is glass within the cast aluminum exterior, all in very good shape. The therometer reads in a red color, a little hard to see in some lighting, otherwise works great.
