View Larger Image   Starrett Planer Gauge No. 246 Gage   Description: This Planer Shaper Gage is in good working condition including the level sight tube, and a removeable 2.000" spindle. The gage appears to have had a gun bluing type finish that has somewhat worn off over the years. We note only minor staining on the bare metal surfaces. The gauge is marked "THE L.S. STARRETT CO. ATHOL MASS. U.S.A. NO. 246" on one side. It measures 5" long overall. It is square on the outside surfaces, so you can lay it down or stand it up on the 5" length and use it that way also. It is very good working order with no past owner's names on it. All the precision surfaces are in very good condition, works great for transfering demensions from one place to another.
