View Larger Image   Fenton & Marsoens Gouge Chisel Tanged 9/16 inch   Description: This is a nice clean gouge chisel that has the tanged type handle fit, and is marked by the maker "FENTON & MARSOENS CAST STEEL" a rarely seen maker's name, also the stamp is unusual with a smaller F in Fenton than the rest of the letters. This one is medium sweep gouge shape. We note the quality of the steel is very good, and the condition of the chisel is also good, ready to use out-channel sharpened. It measures a .60" wide at the widest point, cutting edge is about .56" wide, and is 8" long overall. The hardwood handle has some minor finish staining, no cracks has a good brass ferrule, and in very solid condition.
