View Larger Image   Audels Carpenters & Builders Guide Set 1941   Description: This is a clean set of Audels with a complete set of 4 volumes printed in 1942, and copyright in 1923, 1939. All except volume 4 are marked "REPRINTED IN 1941", volume 4 was printed in 1939. One of my favorite reference book sets for information on building and carpentry techniques from the 1940's. The 1st volume is very good for information on tools of that days and how to care for them. Each book is 5" x 6.7" has a black leather like pressed cloth semi soft boards, gold gilt spine lettering; page edges are bright red colored on all three sides. All are in good++ condition, covers are clean, spines are tight and straight. Pages are clean, no tears, scribbling, or stains. Good tight bindings. We note a slight variation in the red color of the page edges between volume 4 and the other three volumes, otherwise all in very nice shape.
