View Larger Image   Atkins Rip Hand-Saw 5-1/2 TPI   Description: This is a nice clean Atkins 26" long blade, rip hand-saw with the carved handle. It has no etch on the steel blade, but is marked 5-1/2 indicating that is has 5-1/2 teeth per inch. The medallion on the handle is marked "WARRANTED SUPERIOR" with a perched eagle logo in the center of the medallion. The teeth are sharp, the blade is clean, no rust, some very minor pitting on less than 1% of the total steel surfaces, and the blade is about 98% straight, which means no kinks, only a very mild wave noted, expectable for use.
