View Larger Image   Stanley No. 9 1/2 Adjustable Throat Block Plane U.S.A.   Description: This is a very nice clean block plane with the 1 5/8" wide cutter x 6" long. It is marked "STANLEY MADE IN U.S.A." on the cutter, "9 1/2" on the side of the bed, and "STANLEY" in raised lettering on the toe, MADE IN U.S.A. on the heel. This one is in very good from the mid-1900's era. A nice looking plane with over 95% of it's original Japanning intact overall, some minor wear on the cap cover, very clean bare metal surfaces, and a good working adjustable throat, and cutter lateral and depth adjustment features. The cutter is sharp, and in good useable condition, about 98% intact. The cutter is set at 20 degrees on this plane, and it's sharp, ready to use with plenty of stock left for future sharpening.
