1940's SYROCO PINOCCHIO FIGURINES. 7 TOTAL. Large Size: PINOCCHIO, HONEST JOHN. Mid-Size: GEPPETTO, FIGARO, GIDEON, LIMPWICK, JIMINY CRICKET. Walt Disney Productions. Multi Products. Chicago, IL. Made in the USA.These figurines were produced in 1940's after the first release of Walt Disney Production's animated film, Pinocchio. The figurines were produced by the company Multi Products, based in Chicago, Illinois. USA.The figurines are made out of Syroco, a molded wood-type material.The figurines are in great shape for their age, however they do have faded paint, chips, and cracks. But, keep in mind, they are 80+ years old. Please look at photos for condition of each piece.Large PINOCCHIO: 7 3/4" Tall. Pinocchio was the main character in the animated film. He is a wooden puppet created by Geppetto, whose dream was to become a real boy.Large HONEST JOHN: 7 1/2" tall. Honest John (J. Worthington Foulfellow) is a sly, sneaky, and con artist fox. He regularly swindles the residents of his small town. He has a mischievous sidekick named Gideon (Giddy).Mid-Size FIGARO: 3" Tall. Figaro is Geppetto's tuxedo wearing pet cat.Mid-Size JIMINY CRICKET: 5" Tall. In the film, Jiminy Cricket was appointed by the Blue Fairy to be Pinocchio's official conscience with the responsibility of guiding Pinocchio on his journey of becoming a real boy.Mid-Size LAMPWICK: 5 1/2" Tall. Lampwick is a delinquent, older boy who befriends Pinocchio on their way to Pleasure Island.Mid-Size GEPPETTO: 5 1/2" Tall. Geppetto is an old woodcarver living in his small workshop surrounded by his own woodworking pieces. He carves Pinocchio out of pine and wishes that Pinocchio was a real boy.Mid-Size GIDEON (GIDDY): 5 1/4" Tall. Gideon is Honest John's con artist sidekick.
