Antique Hunt’s Round Pointed Pens wooden store counter display case with original-style compartmented interior and an assortment of vintage steel pen nibs, boxes and advertising pieces.
This early C. Howard Hunt Pen Company display features a glass-covered hinged top with large “HUNT’S ROUND POINTED PENS” advertising across the top and front. Interior compartments retain individual pen-style identification labels, including No. 41 Eddystone, No. 57 Banking, No. 709 Courier Stub and others.
Also included are the vintage contents shown in the photos, including assorted loose steel nibs, Esterbrook pen boxes, a Spencerian Counting House Gray Steel box, How Steel Pens Are Made advertising/booklets and additional period writing-related pieces. Contents are being sold exactly as found; I cannot guarantee that every item currently inside was originally supplied with this particular Hunt’s display.
Approximately 14” wide × 13” tall. The case has a sloped counter-display design with wood construction, glass top and metal latches/hardware.
Wonderful survivor from the era of dip pens and traditional stationery stores. Excellent display piece for a collection of antique advertising, general store memorabilia, fountain/dip pens, steel nibs, writing instruments or office antiques.
