Up for sale is a beautiful, 100% original 1909 Edwardian Framed Marriage Certificate Lithograph. This stunning piece of historical ephemera commemorates the marriage of Mr. Henry Gerken and Miss Ella Gerhold of Stanleyville, Ohio, united in Holy Matrimony on November 24th, 1909 in Fearing Township, Washington County, Ohio.

• Publisher: Authentic maker mark at the bottom reads: "The 'Holt' Marriage Certificates - The Holt Concern, Publishers, Chicago, Ill."
• Design Series: Marked "Padlock No. 2" in the lower-left corner, featuring a detailed heart padlock centerpiece with vivid lithograph carnations, roses, and an illustrated Holy Bible.
• Signatures & Witnesses: Signed by Pastor W.C. Kampmeier of Stanleyville, OH, and witnessed by Albert Lauer and Anna Lauer.

Condition:

Very good antique condition. The lithograph itself retains crisp ink and bright, vibrant colors with only minor age-appropriate toning. The original wooden frame is structurally sound, showing beautiful wood grain luster with a couple of tiny, minor cosmetic chips on the outer corner edges (visible in close-up photos). Glass is clean with no cracks. A pristine example of 115+ year old paper Americana.
