Antique stereoview photograph published by William McLeish, Stereoscopic Views, Syracuse, New York, featuring an elaborate Northern Pacific Railroad Co. exhibit/display filled with agricultural products and other goods.
An especially interesting example because the reverse of the mount is completely printed with period advertisements for businesses in Elbridge, Onondaga County, New York, including Munroe House, John Thomas & Co. Undertakers, Alfred E. Stacey General Merchandise, Excelsior Chair Co., G.W. Allen & Son chair manufacturers, and William McLeish, Landscape Photographer, among others.
A wonderful piece combining early railroad, photographic and Central New York advertising history.
Original antique condition with expected age wear including toning, fading, surface wear, edge and corner wear, small stains/marks and an old handwritten notation on the reverse. There is also a vertical crease/bend visible near the center/top area of the mount. Please review photographs closely for condition.
