This is a beautiful, authentic antique brown salt-glazed stoneware mixing bowl in the highly collectible "Picket Fence" (also known as the sawtooth or inverted pyramid) pattern. Measuring 10 inches in diameter, this heavy, utilitarian piece is a quintessential example of early 20th-century American country kitchenware.

MAKER'S MARK NOTE: As was standard practice for Ruckel's utilitarian mixing bowls and dough crocks of this era, this piece was left completely unmarked on its flat, unglazed bottom. It is verified and instantly recognizable to collectors by its unique mold pattern.
CONDITION REPORT: Excellent Vintage Condition: This bowl has been thoroughly inspected. No Cracks or Chips: There are no structural hairline cracks, fractures, or major rim chips. (Note: Any linear marks seen in the photos are merely glossy glaze reflections of the wood tabletop).
