Antique Ruckel’s Pottery stoneware mixing bowl from White Hall, Illinois, featuring the distinctive Picket Fence / inverted pyramid geometric pattern molded around the exterior.
This heavy stoneware bowl has a glossy white to pale gray glaze with a contrasting dark brown exposed rim. The repeating raised geometric design is characteristic of Ruckel’s early American utility stoneware and gives the bowl a great primitive farmhouse appearance.
