Harris G. Strong (1920–2006) was an American artist particularly known for his innovative ceramic tile artwork. He studied chemical engineering and later ceramic art, combining his scientific knowledge with ceramic glazing and tile design. His work became commercially successful through his company, Harris G. Strong, Inc., established in 1950, with his decorative ceramic work eventually reaching an international market.
Strong’s work is associated with Mid-Century Modern decorative art and includes abstract and figurative ceramic tile compositions. His pieces are documented in the secondary art market, including sale records and specialist dealers.
