Iron Pontil Lancaster Glass Works Soda For Sale

Offered for sale is a 7 ¼-inch-tall soda embossed with “Lancaster/ Glass Works / N.Y.” Bottle has been lightly tumbled to restore originalluster. It has a beautiful blue color, an applied blob top, lots of seedbubbles, and an iron pontil base with lots of iron. There are no chips, cracks,bruises, and very few, if any, scratches. There is a minor rough spot on the top of the lip which can be felt but is not very noticeable. Doesn\'t even show up in the photos. There are also some specks of slag in the glass, but that is just a manufacturing flaw. Glass is clean and embossing is pretty good except for the first coupleof letters in the word “glass.” A nice 1850’s soda! Please check all photos before offerding.
