Recently removed from the Space Shuttle's Artifact Storage as surplus property, this "MAZE SEAL COVER" was made by Hamilton Standard and part of the Waste Collection System ( space toilet ) on board the Space Shuttle. Anodized green aluminum plate which covered aseparatorfan, and sealed alabyrinthpath section for air flow, this item has unique serial number with matching ID numbers on a JSC parts tag and laser etched onto one side. Still sealed in it's de-accession bag. ( Photos include an identical cover that has been opened prior, however the item youreceiveis still sealed ). These covers came in a group that were all removed from multiple flown WCS's with different serial numbers.
