This knife is in excellent condition and features a factory sharp Whale Shark blade with a rare \"no slot\" configuration in MagnaCutpaired with rare textured titanium handles.This knife features a stonewashed 3\" stainless MagnaCut blade with a very slicey factory edge. The textured titanium handles have a pattern unique to the Compact model that curves along the length of the handle and is very grippy and very comfortable in hand, in grippy, full titanium. Overall length is 7.75\". Very firm lockup and drop shut action due to the exceptionally smooth bearings and Shark-Mechanism.
The Shark-Lock mechanism is situated on the spine of the knife and operated with a ramp-like ‘fin.’ Opening the blade makes the spring-driven lock arm move up and then into a notch in the tang, situating it beneath a lock pin. This range of movement is noteworthy. It’s unique in that the locking mechanism moves forward and back while also moving up and down. This allows for a greater-sized blade tang, making a better mechanical advantage in a specific area. And because the drive spring that moves the locking element up into the locked position is contained within the locking arm itself, it won’t be subject to dirt and grime. This locking system is one of the strongest on the market. Made in the USA.
This knife is pre-owned but in excellent shape with factory sharp blade and excellent smooth action. Has a very small mark near the shark lock that may be part of the stonewash.
