Up for sale is the 2005 Capri Yearbook for Samuel C. Mumford High School in Detroit, Michigan. The content captures the 2004-2005 school year.
The school opened in September 1949 with an architectural profile that included imported powder blue limestone block and exquisite Art Deco styling. The original building was demolished during summer 2012. A new building constructed on the same site opened in August 2012.
Famous alumni include NFL John \"Tiny\" Andrews, Motown Records guitarist Cornelius Grant, Sports journalist Jemele Hill, jazz musician Earl Klugh, former Saturday Night Live cast member Gilda Radner, MSU/NFL football player Derrick Mason, athlete Kenneth Ferguson (husband of Allyson Felix) and Gospel legends The Winans, The Clark Sisters, and Fred Hammond. They are not pictured in this edition.
