Up for sale/sale is a beautiful, authentic 4-piece Victorian-era fine porcelain dresser/vanity set. The blanks were manufactured by Charles Field Haviland (Gérard, Dufraisseix & Morel) in Limoges, France, featuring the green underglaze factory mark dating the porcelain production between 1882 and 1890.
The pieces were exquisitely hand-painted by a studio artist and are signed and dated on the base \"M.R.W. \'98\" (1898). There is also indication that this set was gifted from M.R.W to M.F.L in 1906. What a beautiful historical trail this is! You do not see this clear of a timeline very often. The set features a highly collectible Victorian romantic theme of delicate blue forget-me-not flowers accented by heavy, scalloped gold gilding.
