Takatori ware is traditionally characterised by earthy tones decorated with natural glazes. This gohan-chawan showcases a unique blue tonal gradation which pools in the centre. The use of multiple natural glazes retains the capacity for originality, culminating in this original glaze style here known as Tenmitsu (Celestial Honey).
