Sgt Gustavus Booth business card. Grand Army of the Republic. 5th Massachusetts Cavalry veteran. The 5th was a regiment made up of African American soldiers. Gus was a non commissioned officer. There are records of his involvement in the GAR after the war that can be found through internet search. Gus died in 1894. He’s buried in Hartford Connecticut.
