Offered is a pair of unique Tohono O'odham (Papago) Horsehair Basket earrings.
Each basket is just under 1 1/2" across. And with the hooks, they hang down about 2 1/4".
I don't think the hooks are sterling (they failed the magnet test). I will include two sterling silver hooks if you'd like to replace the original hooks.
These came from an Indiana collection that we purchased a few years ago. The couple traveled frequently to the Southwest and had a huge collection of Tohono O'odham baskets and many of these basket earrings.

*I pack carefully and try to reuse materials to save on environmental impact. I often double-box items with smaller gift boxes collected from various thrift stores. Though I don't like styrofoam peanuts for environmental reasons, I have found they are the best at protecting fragile items against damage during shipping. I reuse all that I receive and hope you will make use of the ones that come in your packages.
