Beautiful Orrefors Fleur crystal vase, designed by Jan Johansson for Orrefors Sweden. This striking sculptural vase features the distinctive Fleur design with tall petal-like vertical ribs, a dramatic pointed floral rim, and a substantial weighted base.
The crystal has wonderful clarity and sparkle, and this is an especially heavy, impressive piece. It measures approximately 7½ inches tall and about 5½ inches across at the widest point.
The underside is signed Orrefors.
This vase does have damage to one exterior section, including a chip/impact area shown clearly in the photographs. The damage is localized to one side. The vase has been water tested and holds water without leaking. When the damaged area is turned toward the back, it becomes much less noticeable and the vase still displays beautifully.
Because of the condition, this piece is being offered at a reduced price and sold as is. It is still a beautiful example of Orrefors Fleur crystal and deserves a second chance as a display vase or flower vase.
