The sugar bowl with lid .measures 4 1/2" H, x 3 1/4" W and the creamer measures 3 1/4" H x 5 1/2" W (from end of spout to end of handle) The pattern is known collectively as the "Vernonware Plaids". Six lines of nostalgic plaid patterns were created in total and are highly prized by collectors, including the "Homespun Plaid" pattern as seen. "Homespun Plaid" is characterized by a distinctive rustic yet elegant California casual motif showcasing a farmhouse-inspired, hand-painted quality with bold, colorful, and charmingly imperfect dry-brush strokes in earthy tones of brown, green, orange, yellow, avocado, rust, and mustard on an off-white background with a high-gloss glaze finish resembling its namesake homespun fabric.
