WWI Swiss Model 1889 /11 Schmidt Rubin Lock Bar Bayonet Knife + Scabbard TR279 For Sale

Swiss Model 1889/1911 Schmidt Rubin measuring 16.5" OAL, blade length of 11.75". Very good condition showing some wear, scratches., made by Neuhausen, great working press-stud, the scabbard shows a dent with scattered paint loss. Fits nicely and locks into the scabbard.This bayonet variation was the last of the Model 1889 Schmidt-Rubin series of Bayonet Knives, and has a scabbard locking bar actually machined into the fuller of the blade. Interesting design and must have for the Schmidt-Rubin Collector. See photos.
