WWI Swiss Model 1914 Sawback Schmidt Rubin Rifle Bayonet + 1st Var Sheath TR1513 For Sale

WWI Swiss Model 1914 Bayonet measuring 24" overall with a sawback blade of 19". Excellent overall condition with some light handling wear, marks. Comes with the rare first variant leather scabbard with steel locket and sheath. Scabbard is excellent showing some handling wear and marks on the leather, the locket and chape are tight with no looseness. The finial on the chape shows the Swiss Cross. Ricasso area of blade is stamped, "WAFFENFABRIK NEUHAUSEN" and the Swiss Cross below it. Very good looking wood grips with some lined thin scratches someone made, looks like a pin-wheel, both sides. Excellent working press-stud,This Bayonet was designed for the M1911 and M1931 Schmidt-Rubin Rifles. Some people call this bayonet the Model 1911 Pioneer Bayonet, but the more accurate name is the Model 1914. See photos!
