No rust, some very minor wear on the jaws, mostly on the edges, jaws are straight and parallel on this medium duty model adjustable wrench. A good useable wrench overall. The jaws are almost 1/2" thick at the widest point. .85" capacity between the jaws. Weighs 1/2 pound.
