• Wiring Condition: The lamp was historically converted to electricity via an internal central threaded rod, exiting with a vintage brown cord through the underside of the base plate. The cord has been cut flush at the base. The lamp cannot be used and beeds to be re-wired by a professional.
• Mechanics & Parts: The structural bronze casting is completely sound. It features an open hole/entry port in the central shaft column where original 1830s internal plumbing components were bypassed to make way for the modern threaded electrical pipe.
• Included Loose Component: Includes one loose, original 1830s internal brass wick-lever component (pictured detached). This piece was bypassed during the 20th-century conversion, remained loose inside the hollow shaft, and recently shook free. It is included loose in the shipping box.
• Burners: Both side burners retain early 20th-century internal pull-chain sockets with non-matching decorative hanging tassels. Missing all glass shadesand chimneys.
